Interior Painting

Interior painting that looks right in daylight

A good interior paint job is mostly what happens before the roller touches the wall. We move and cover the furniture, protect the floors, fill nail holes and cracks, sand the patches flat, caulk the trim and prime anything bare or stained. Then two coats of a quality paint, cut in by hand at the ceilings and trim.

How we do it

Interior Painting across Escambia, Santa Rosa, and Okaloosa counties

That order matters because Gulf Coast light is unforgiving. A patch that was not sanded flat shows at four in the afternoon when the sun comes across the wall. We check our work in raking light before we call a room done.

We paint single rooms, whole houses, rentals between tenants and homes going on the market. On a whole-house job we work room by room so you keep the use of your home, and we clean up at the end of every day.

If you have not picked colours, we can help. We will tell you how a colour behaves in a north-facing room versus a south-facing one and paint sample patches on the wall so you can see it at different times of day before committing.

Often booked with it: accent walls & limewash and cabinet refinishing.

Good to know

Interior Painting: the questions we get asked

How long does it take to paint a room?

A standard bedroom with walls only is usually one day. Add trim, ceiling and doors and it is closer to two. A whole three-bedroom house is normally four to six working days depending on how much prep the walls need.

Do I need to move out while you paint?

No. We work one or two rooms at a time, keep the dust down and put things back at the end of the day. Low-odour paints mean a room is usually usable again the same evening.

Do you move furniture?

Yes, we move it to the middle of the room and cover it. Please clear shelves, pictures and anything breakable before we arrive; we will take care of the rest.

What is included in the price?

Everything on the written quote: prep, primer where it is needed, two finish coats and clean-up. We do not add charges for patching normal nail holes and small cracks. Larger drywall repair is quoted separately so there are no surprises.

Can you paint ceilings and trim too?

Yes. Most whole-house quotes include ceilings, trim, doors and closets. Tell us what you want covered and the quote will list each item.
